Vertice Heart Camp Sets New Standard for Surgical Services

In November 2022, Vertice Namibia’s Heart Camp event went beyond medical intervention, bringing a compassionate touch to paediatric cardiology surgeries. The team introduced pre- and post-surgery counselling pilot services, which were instrumental in reducing anxiety levels and helping children and their families cope better with the emotional trauma of surgery.
