Vertice Cardiothoracic Celebrates LVAD Patients

Our Cardiothoracic division attended a major event for transplant patients.

The Transplant/ LVAD function was a celebration of patients who have received heart transplantations and Left ventricular assist devices – a true celebration of life. This beautiful function was captured under the wonderous Table Mountain in Cape Town.

This event brought together individuals who had undergone life-saving procedures, along with their close family members and the medical professional who played a role in their journeys.

The event aimed to commemorate and honour the strength, resilience, and newfound lease on life these individuals gained through their transplants and LVAD procedures.
