In a significant stride towards enhancing urology healthcare, Africa Synergy Health (ASH), a registered non-profit organisation, was on a mission to eliminate the extensive waiting list of urology patients in the public sector. Leading this initiative is Dr. Viola Morolo and her dedicated team from Steve Biko Hospital, who envision a future with zero patient waiting lists.
A pivotal moment in this journey was Africa Synergy Health’s Mandela Week, held from 17 to 23 July, 2023. During this inspiring week, 67 urological and general surgical procedures were performed across various public and private hospitals in Pretoria.
Vertice was honoured to join forces with ASH, contributing our Bipolar laser technology, Allium stents, and a range of consumable products.
