TERRITORY MANAGER – CRMD

Role Overview

The Territory Manager: CRMD is responsible for driving the sales of medical device products within a designated territory. The role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, and internal stakeholders, while promoting Vertice’s products and services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding the customer base, attending planned cases, demonstrating products, providing technical product information, and ensuring that all sales activities are conducted in line with company policies, ethical standards, healthcare industry regulations, and SAHPRA compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell medical device products to healthcare professionals, hospitals, and clinics within the assigned territory.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and support the growth of the customer base within the defined region.
• Plan schedules effectively to ensure all planned cases are attended.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of potential sales leads and opportunities.
• Demonstrate medical device products to healthcare professionals, including product features, benefits, and correct usage.
• Provide detailed product information and respond to technical questions from customers.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with doctors, nurses, medical staff, purchasing departments, and other key external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product Specialists, Regulatory, Customer Services, and Operations teams.
• Regularly visit current and potential clients to support product performance, customer engagement, and loyalty.
• Attend conferences and industry events to promote products and remain informed of market developments.
• Track sales performance, forecast future sales, and report progress to management.
• Ensure that all administration is kept up to date, including CRM records, bookings, cases, stock, and mileage logs.
• Ensure all sales activities comply with healthcare industry regulations, company policies, ethical standards, and SAHPRA requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications
Essential: Certified medical professional with a relevant medical or clinical background.
Advantageous: BTech or BSc in Cardiac Clinical Technology, or an equivalent qualification. Valid registration with the HPCSA as a Cardiac Clinical Technologist.

Experience
Essential: 3 to 4 years’ experience in a Sales Representative position. Background in specialised medical devices, for example surgical equipment, diagnostics, or similar products.
Advantageous: Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools.

Provides coordination and project management of events and marketing activities to ensure promotional success of the ENDO business, as well as assisting the Head of Training and Business Development for the ENDO Group with administration.
